About the vintage : A word to define the 2021 vintage: testing! After a very beautiful month of March, the black frost of April will have destroyed between 50 and 70% of the harvest. The temperatures fell down to -8°C which impacted the buds. The recovery of vegetation was very quick, leading to a lot of work in the vineyard. Unfortunately, the summer was rainy with a significant risk of diseases such as powdery mildew and mildew. During the grape harvest, a drastic sorting process was carried out both in the vineyard and in the winery to ensure the good maturity of the vintage. Finally, this vintage presents balanced wines, light with a fine and fresh frame.
Terroir : This terroir is located at the beginning of a hillside, enclosed between the quarry of Chassagne and the mountain of Montrachet. Soil rich in limestone. Large quantity of very calcareous stone screes resulting from the erosion of the bedrock. Vines planted in the mid-1980s on an area of 0.35 hectares.

Aging : 15 months of aging: 15% new wood in Burgundy piece, 75% 350 liters (50% from 2019 and 50% more than 3 wines)
