About the vintage : A vintage of all extremes! The spring frost hit by surprise, even on sheltered hillsides, and it was followed by a fresh and rainy vegetative season. In August, very hot weather allowed to catch up the delay of maturity and the harvest started at the end of September. The wines are 'typical' of a fresh vintage: low in alcohol, aromatic, crunchy and delicate on the palate. Their perfect balance will make wines of great guard.

Appellations & terroir : The Saint-Joseph appellation is mainly located on granite terraces, on steep hillsides with a south/southeast exposure. The white, fresh and elegant wines can be made from Marsanne and/or Roussanne grape varieties.

Harvest & vinification : This cuvée is made from the Marsanne grape variety (100%). The grapes are harvested by hand in the morning and then directly pressed into a whole harvest. The harvested juices are placed in the cold to be settled. Then, they are put in barrels (for 25% of the volume) and in stainless steel vats where the alcoholic fermentation takes place then the malolactic fermentation. Finally, the wines are aged on total lees for 6 to 8 months and bottled in their youth to retain all their freshness.
